Delicious food and very friendly service and beautifully surrounded by forest.

Very, very full for the 1st Advent. Still, the food and service was good. Reservations are necessary here as there are no longer many restaurants serving German cuisine in the area. The parking situation is rather bad.

Was there with friends and family on a Sunday just after the noon-day crowd. Everything was great. The goose was excellent, the Klösse and accompaniments tasty, the atmosphere warm, the service professional. Hope to be able to go back one day and find it much unchanged.

As we got in, the restaurant was full which I took for a good sign. But it seemed like there was only one waiter and a bar - on a Friday night with a full restaurant? The waiter was really nice and attentive but there was barely any conversation or banter. This place could be great if they hired more staff to take care of customers.Food-wise, it was excellent. My fish was great and everyone else seemed to enjoy their food just as much. If only we didn't have to wait 45 mins for it!
