Feedback gevenThis restaurant rocked all the boxes amazing food, atmosphere, and service. The lady was very nice and told us about the history of the building as it belonged to her a female relative of hers who was a teacher. The duck with caramelised apple was amazing and the Aranese soup and blue cheese cheesecake were also delicious!! The atmosphere was so cosy and such sweet Christmas decorations.
We came away thinking we had new best friends! This restaurant was a real delight the menu was 30 euros each plus drinks. From the outset the owner made us very welcome, she was freindly, accommodating and willing to explain the menu with a little animation! The food was well presented, ample and with beautiful flavours. The setting is in a lovely village. The restaurant has a smalll garden and the decor inside and out was charming. Her husband was also lovely and spent time chatting to us about being bought up in a mountain village. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant with character.
Tredos is a typical Aranese village down the road from the ski resort of baquiera. it hasn't been built up or gentrified like Arties down the road, and isn't on the main road like Salardu. Its very quiet, not many foreign visitors, which is cool. the streets are winding with all the old houses, in the centre of the old village is the placa major with this family-run restaurant on it. its pretty quiet, we ate at 930 on thursday and sunday and were one of two tables full each time (out of 5 or 6 in total). the quality and quantity of the food is fantastic, and the value. pretty good reasonable wine list (muga for 19 euros). Olla Aranesa stew highlight as a starter, all the meat dishes great for main course. loved this place. menu for 3 courses is 33 euros per person, we spend less than 50 all told on a 3 course meal with wine and beer. highly recommended. oh, good if you speak some spanish or catalan. if you don't, just smile and point, and bring a dictionary. the waiter didn't speak english or french, the owner and his wife do.
Buen servicio y atención. La calidad del producto es estupenda. Recomendamos la tarta de queso para los postres. El carpacho de ternera es muy bueno y el magret de pato tambien
Cantidades grandes de comida. El aperitivo es una comida concreta y te lo ponen (y lo pagas) para todos los comensales. Después es el menú del día de dos platos y un postre. Son grandes cantidades y como antes comes un aperitivo, recomiendo compartir menú entre dos personas.
