The staff is wonderful. I was delighted to find a sewing kit in the bathroom. I would give my stay a flawless 10/10 rating!
This restaurant offers a truly unique and special experience. The atmosphere is reminiscent of being in a home away from home. Liz and her staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile to assist their guests. The cozy and welcoming vibe creates a relaxing and homely environment. Joanne and I are grateful for the refreshing and enjoyable experience. Thank you to Liz and her team for their exceptional hospitality.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Elizabeth was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were attending a wedding at Clonabreany House nearby, and she even gave us an extra room free of charge to get ready. The breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this place.
I wish I could give zero stars! Avoid The Lawrence at all costs! We reserved a table for a party of 20 for a birthday celebration and it was a complete disaster. The food quality was poor, it was highly overpriced, and there was no value for money. Despite my experience in the hospitality industry, I have never encountered such rudeness. We waited over an hour and a half to be seated with no explanation or apology. When we finally sat down, the owner, Liz, was unaccommodating and refused to make any substitutions. It took nearly three hours for our main course to be served, with some members of our group finishing their meals before others even received theirs. The food was cold, orders were mixed up, and we never received all of the sides we ordered. The staff seemed confused and stressed, and the overall experience was disorganized and upsetting. Liz was dismissive and only interested in taking our money, adding extra charges to the bill and acting as if it was our fault she was busy. I will never return to this establishment.
From the moment when I joined the lawrence, I was personally greeted by the owner liz, with a warm, friendly smiles and a certain kind of natural hospitality, other boutique hotels can only strive to achieve. After I was given a quick tour through the hotel and its facilities, I was then shown to my room (an other wonderful, personal note), its pleasant and left to relax. I arrived quite late in the evening and even then nothing was too much when I had offered to eat, although the kitchen was closed. after the wake up of the next morning, the breakfast from this world was a traditional Irish affair, with a modern twist, including homemade ketchup, which was delicious; it was more than obvious that the care, attention and quality of the ingredients was second to none. a full of fruit, chalk and alcohol-free drinks was also present, although I cut directly on the jagd. on another morning when I was awakened especially late, I thought I would go to the city to eat a bite, but it was insisted that the breakfast was prepared for me in the hotel. I chose a bacon sandwich that was perhaps the most beautiful I ever tasted. it was accompanied by alcohol-free drinks and even a time of my choice. the room itself was underestimated luxury, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable and extremely quiet. you could have heard a pen fall. the staff could not have been more helpful during my stay and went beyond and beyond to make me welcome. this is a hidden gem in county meath and I will be sure to visit again. a wonderful stay, with a loving owner who could not do more. so great experience.
