However, I have been on a roll trying Americanos at different coffee places; I thought it was fair to try the americanos at Starbucks, and beings I was in the position to do so at the one located in Fred Meyers. I thought, what the heck! I was greeted friendly by the barista and promptly gave her my order, an 8 oz. americano. Like yesterday, this barista didn't offer me a coffee sleeve either, and she didn't warn me the coffee was scalding. After letting my americano cool a bit, I was dying to take a sip to see how similar or different their americano is to all of the other ones I have recently tried. It was generally ok tasting but bolder in taste and left a little bit of an acidic taste in my mouth afterward. In my opinion, it wasn't very smooth tasting. Still, it wasn't terrible either; it was pricer than any of the other 8 oz americanos I have recently purchased, coming in at $2.45 before tax. I am happy I tried a Starbucks americano, but I doubt I will rush back to grab another americano here, at least not anytime soon, Still, I can appreciate that people have their own opinions and know what they like, whether it is the taste, a familiar place, the people that work there or only out of convenience, your supporting jobs. Right now, that is a crucial factor. Thank you for supporting all jobs; please don't forget to support your locally owned small businesses as well, and remember Covid affects everyone, be friendly, have patience and stay healthy!!!!
For the past week, I've been going to the drive thru locations in the area on my way to work to grab a Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, and due to the delivery delays they're either out of oatmilk, out of brown sugar supplies, or it just doesn't taste the same as the first few I tried. THIS location is 100% consistent, quick preparing the drink, and they're so kind and friendly. My drink just completely made my entire day I can't thank them enough. Thank you guys! 10/10 recommend, and bring cash tip, Starbucks doesn't like to make card tipping easy.
