Quebra-mar - Nazare

Sad to say that this place doesnt serve what is on the menu. It creates a great expectation when you enter, but is not the case when the food arrives...

Was very impressed with Sito but it was very windy . i was also like the sculptor of the Veado and i looked up the sculptors work and was very impressed with her other works. we then went down into the village was not very impressed but saw the ladies who dry the fish .then when looking for a place for lunch many to choose from and at different prices but better than on the top at Sito 's up to 3e per serving for the same dish. we eventually chose quebra- mar it was reasonable and very nice on the inside we were 2 couples the men has calamari skewered and we had arroz de lulas very tasty and all was well served . on the way back we came through national roads and the burnt area is very bad and heart sore.

We ate a good caldeirada (fish and potato stew) in the veranda which offers a nice light. Definitely less crowded than in the very centre of Nazaré, a positive point for us. Not the best meal ever but very honest.

This restaurant is on the water in Nazare like so many other restaurants. We chose to eat here without any research and were not sorry. We ate in inside portion not that part that is on the sidewalk. Our waiter was Eddie who spoke good English and helped us with perfect recommendations. Eddie was great. We had very good authentic Portuguese food in a comfortable atmosphere. Not many American probably eat here but they should. The prices were very reasonable.
