The sweet potato fries were hot and delicious, while the coleslaw was just okay. For dessert, the pumpkin pancake with Log Cabin syrup was tasty. My brother enjoyed his marinated, grilled chicken breast with sweet potato fries from the soup and salad bar. The beef barley soup was quite good. The slice of apple pie a la mode was also enjoyable, especially with hot decaf coffee. A month ago, I had the broiled haddock with homemade mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, which was excellent. I loved the Manhattan clam chowder so much that I had two cups! The pumpkin pie with whipped cream was decent. My brother ordered a baked potato and steamed broccoli with his chicken breast from the soup and salad bar as well. The charbroiled chicken kebab, which takes half an hour to prepare, was worth the wait. It featured large chunks of chicken breast chargrilled on a skewer with slices of grilled onion, bell pepper, and tomato over rice—everything was delicious, and I ended up taking most of it home. The cup of hot latte was also enjoyable. Aside from the issue with the burger bun yesterday, the service has been good. They have a great menu, and we always love coming here for lunch or dinner.
It's decent. Always bustling with activity. The food is average—not bad, but certainly not outstanding.
