The best place in the area. We ate here a couple of years ago and now as well and it is still a place with great quality. The food is very tasty, the portions are very big and the prices are OK. One meal is enough for a couple. They have lots of authentic Greek cooked meals every day. The place does not serve free dessert. There is a public playground right after it which makes it great for families. We will definitely come again. Meal type: Lunch

End of an era for an iconic store in Nea Playa. After 30 years of frequenting the shop every summer (since 1992), this year the management and all the staff changed with tragic results. The problem was not the 20% increase in prices that was expected this year, but the major degradation of the services provided. First of all we waited 10 minutes for them to take our order without anyone else in the shop at that time! But the most important thing is that the large portions (for which this particular shop was famous) were reduced by more than 30%, while even the round bread per person (charged €1) was reduced to the size of a gift! The (unacceptably small) portion of skewers consisted of 3 pieces that seemed empty with only 4 pieces of meat each, the meat itself was inedible as it was tough and undercooked. . PS A friendly advice to the new owners, because it seems that this is their first time focusing on Greece. Greeks in a restaurant value first the quality and not the cost, i.e. they prefer to eat out less often but the food is good and of sufficient quantity, than it is cheap but a little bad.
