There is a lot of competition in the area with cafes everywhere, but this was probably the worst one I have been to. I think it was mainly due to the attitude of a staff member. He really needed a personality transplant. I definitely won't be returning.

Came here today for food for the 1st time. We have walked passed loads of times but never come in. More fool me. The coffee was perfect and the food was cooked perfectly. The staff were lovely and friendly and i think this is our new fav place to eat when we come here

We have been loyal customers for years and the food is consistently delicious - we have never had a bad meal here. The menu offers a variety of options from all day breakfast to ham rolls, lasagna to sausage rolls, and everything is amazing. Their Sunday lunch special is just £6.00, and with dessert it is £7.00 - and it tastes absolutely divine, making you want to come back again and again. Clive and Elaine, the owners, are truly wonderful and we are grateful to call them our friends. Don't hesitate to visit C E Cafe on Forge Road - you won't be disappointed.

I can guarantee that they serve the best food you will ever taste! Whether it's breakfast or Sunday lunch, their delicious offerings keep us coming back for more. During our recent visit, we arrived a bit later than usual. I ordered the Egg rolls and my husband opted for the Lasagna and chips. Oh my goodness, the food was absolutely amazing! The rolls were exceptional and unlike anything I've ever tasted in a café before. The Sunday dinners are a must-try, with generous portions of meat that simply melt in your mouth. I highly recommend this place!
