Greens - Neath Port Talbot

Treated to afternoon tea for my birthday on sat 2/7/16 with my daughters and granddaughter . What a disappointment ! Poorly presented ,sandwiches were dry ! Conclusion being they had been made a while , Cakes were cut in half and Shop Bought !! Would not recommend afternoon tea there

Great food, reasonable priced but looks ala carte. Very relaxing with really 1st class service from the staff.

Went to the greens restaurant today with a friend and my experience was horrible! We booked a table and told the waiter we had a table booked and he said yeah your table is over there! Didn 't show as to our table, he then came over and gave us our drinks and just stood there and stared at us, we then said what we wanted for food and he replied with okay go up there and get it! Very disappointed in the costumer service! He Didn 't smile or was not very polite! The food did not taste like it use to! The food used to be lovely there and today the gravy was like water and had no taste! The veg was horrible too! Very disappointed!!

The food at this restaurant is excellent and served in a nice, casual setting. While reservations may not be necessary, it could be a good idea to make one just in case.

I have visited the Castle Hotel a few times for Sunday lunch, but my last experience will be my final one. I ordered the Nut roast, which was extremely hard and lacked flavor. When I went to the counter to select my vegetables, I quickly glanced at the meat options, only to be rudely told by a very officious waitress with long fair hair that I couldn't have any because I was having the nut roast. I was shocked by her terrible attitude and felt embarrassed. I could only mutter to my friend about how rude she was. This waitress definitely needs to improve her customer service skills. In hindsight, I should have sent back the awful nut roast and requested something more appetizing for vegetarians like myself. Surely the hotel can come up with better options for those who choose not to eat meat.
