Crosscut Pizzeria & Taphouse

Nothing beats a good mountain town pizza. You don’t have to stretch your imagination to envision coming into Nederland after a day of working up an appetite hiking in RMNP. A quick stop at Crosscut will satisfy any hunger you managed to work up. Crosscut’s wide range of wood-fired pizzas really offer something for everyone’s taste. While I personally shy away from a Hawaiian, I can tell you that the Hatch is delicious. As a matter of fact, we were so anxious to dig-in that I only managed to get a picture of half the pie. The crust is the right base with a combination of crisp and chewy. Their mozzarella cheese is delicious and serves as the perfect bed for pepperoni and hatch chili. Service is fast and friendly. While the place looked very busy late on a Friday afternoon we didn’t wait long for our order. They have a wide selection of beers to pair with your pie but if you want to pass on the alcohol, their lemonade is a great mix of tart and sweet to wash down your meal.

CrossCut was a wonderful experience! It is clean and run like a professional establishment. My friend and I sat at the bar and the bartender was welcoming to us and his service was prompt. The pizza was the best that we've had on the mountain in a long time! We will definitely be back soon.

Dynamite pizza! good choice. friendly staff and beautiful seating outdoors. I will definitely visit again when returning to the city.

Our favorite pizza place in all of the greater denver metro. It is always so good! Love their rotating beer collection too. Hands down our favorite restaurant in Nederland.
