The Lure - Nekoosa

I tried a **** Mary, and as someone who prides myself on being a **** Mary aficionado, I can confidently rate it an A+. For our appetizers, we ordered the chips and cheese, along with a bowl of chili, a Reuben sandwich, and a Cuban sandwich. The homemade chips were not only hot but also quite large, making them a perfect addition to our meal. The chili was some of the best I've tasted at a restaurant. My wife's Reuben sandwich was huge, served with an ample portion of fries, and she gave it a thumbs up. My Cuban sandwich, also accompanied by fries, did not disappoint in terms of flavor, size, or tenderness. I can assure you that with these meals, you definitely won't leave feeling hungry. Kudos to Dan and his team! We will most certainly return and share our positive experience with friends and neighbors.

We had supper at The Lure this evening! It was awesome. We had the fish fry, three cod loins plenty of tartar sauce, beans, choose of potatoes, coleslaw. Prices have been fairly adjusted. We will definitely be back.

We are local, we love going to the lake, great location to dock the boat and have a nice lunch or dinner, BUT.... Maybe they want people to stay and have breakfast too, because takes literally hours to get served and be able to leave. Totally outrageous waiting time, not once or twice as a fluke, new servers, etc.... it seems to be the norm , funny thing is that the drinks are very fast to come by, the food is what takes for ever, so is that their strategy to make you spend more? Well, thanks but no, we will not come back and we do not recommend this place unless you have 4 hrs to waste.

On this beautiful September day we had a very good lunch on the outdoor patio. We had a great server and excellent food and cocktails. Granted it was at noon and not busy but still a great place with a view of the beach and lake. They have trouble getting help here like most places so be patient if it's busy. The hamburgers and homemade potato chips and very good. Rollups were good too. We ate here twice while on vacation and it was equally good both days so maybe they are doing better with their service issues in the evening. Keep them open and check the Lure out!

Do yourself a favor and just eat a cardboard box in your living room while drinking battery acid and cut your own leg off with a hacksaw. Trust me, it will be more fun than a trip to the lure. Half full restaurant Seated at a dirty table(ok fine) Served flat beer(ok fine) Terrible service from go(ok it happens) An hour and 35 minutes for a pizza with ZERO communication from staff(really) A complete disregard for the experience when letting management know. And never a sorry from anyone. Best of luck to the new owners, you 're going to need it me thinks. I.will.never.be.back.
