The Boathouse Society - Nelson

We have captured many beautiful weddings at the Boathouse in Nelson! The views looking out over the water are stunning, and you can often catch a beautiful sunset from the deck. The inside is quite spacious, white walls, wooden floors and a little bit of character makes this venue such a charmer and we have found the Boathouse staff so always be so helpful and friendly. We cannot wait to capture another wedding at The Boathouse again very soon.

Great view with friendly staff. Few Gluten free food options, and good selection of food. Prices were not bad and wait time was pretty quick. Would recommend a swing by even just for a drink to enjoy the view

Delicious scrambled tofu on asparagus and bread for a great price! Was too good to stop and take a photo before eating the majority. Beautiful spot on the deck as well!

I have been there several times over the years. It's a great spot, a quintessential Nelson landmark to visit and to enjoy.

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic! From the greeting and friendly chit chat from the front of house staff, to the atmosphere and view, makes this a special place. As for the food….. The Steak…..SPOT ON Seafood Chowder…..DIVINE Kids Fish n Chips…..PERFECT Made me feel so happy! Can not wait to come back next time we are in Nelson. Thank you.
