I might say this is possibly more 3 1\2 stars. There are some nice options for variety such as different types of fries (take the crinkly option! . That being said, while one could say you’re asking for greasy food, our order was without a doubt REALLY greasy. Fish was variable in tastiness (we tried different types and some was pretty good, some meh , and my son was not particularly enthused by the burger.

Great service but there are other equally good fish and chip shops great wedge chips option though that's a point of difference ..

Disgusting food chips were very average as were the curry& rice roll Burger was supposed to be with coleslaw but came with soggy old salad don't recommend this place

Fabulous. Huge servings. Beautiful big freshly caught REAL KIWI fish species. Generous sized scoop of chips. The largest freshest paua patties ever. Lovely, on to it staff. Make a phone order and it'll be ready in ten minutes. Best fish and chips shop in New Zealand!!! (I must try their burgers)

Nice fish that you could tell was fresh, and I liked the chunky chips too, only thing that I wasn’t the biggest fan of was the hot dog but worth the visit!
