Blueys - Nelson Bay

We were blessed with fabulous weather to enjoy dining outdoors. There was 4 ladies and we were enjoying a girls weekend away so tried a few places but by far Blueys breakfast was the best. We all enjoyed our meals . The young girl who served us was fabulous , friendly and looked like she loved her job We will definitely return

A delightful experience. Visited twice in one day. Late afternoon for cocktails and later for dinner. Looking for good fish and chips and we found it. The fish was light and fluffy with perfect batter. The steak was perfectly cooked to order....no steak knife provided nor required, it was deliciously tender. Service was efficient and authentic. Would highly recommend for great food, lovely views of the marina and really good service.

Top spot to watch the sun go down and view the mega boats and enjoy a great meal and drink. Great value as well. Best schnitzel we have ever had, included red wine jus, chips and fresh salad. Lovely chat with owner Michael. Will definitely be back!!

Sensational. Beautiful outlook over the marina and fantastic coffee and food. Friendly staff. So glad I found this place. They also had the most comfortable cast iron outdoor furniture I’ve ever sat in. I hope you don’t mind me asking but any idea where I could purchase similar outdoor furniture to those you have near the giant chess board?

Great location and views. Had breakfast here and it was really good, hot and care taken to present it well. Service at the counter and by wait staff was friendly. Coffee is nice, stronger style bean and came out very promptly. I have them a 4 but it's probably a 4.4 in my opinion, so give them a go! All in all good location, clean, fair prices and nice staff. I read some of the other reviews and I really can't fault the staff or say they are rude so it's a thumbs up from me.
