Pizzeria Le Colombe Da Tiziano - NEMI

We visited this restaurant after a recommendation from a local Italian family. It is set off the beaten track and when we went it was only locals there, other than us!! The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. I ordered the gnocchi which was out of this world. My wife and youngest son had a pizza each which was huge!! My eldest son had the penne arrabiata which he said was delicious. I also had a tiramisu for pudding which was the best I have ever had. The waiter kindly gave my wife and son a pizza box to take some home as they couldn 't eat all of it. All in all it was a fantastic experience. Wonderful authentic home cooked food. Clearly the restaurant is very popular with locals which is always a great sign. And very well priced (50 euros for 4 x main courses, 1 x pudding and drinks, including wine) This represented tremendous value for such good food. Bravo!! Many thanks and we hope to visit again. Don 't go to the tourist trap restaurants try here first and you won 't be disappointed!!

Se si passa per i castelli romani vale davvero la pena fermarsi in questo ristorante: piatti abbondanti e eccellenti, personale molto gentile, tra cui il proprietario molto bello. siamo tornati per due notti sotto e era come sentirsi a casa. provare la carbonara e le pappardelle al cinghiale. Torneremo sicuramente!
