Feedback gevenI asked a young lady where my burger was. She mentioned she was dropping fresh fries, but I said I didn’t want fresh fries because that would take three minutes. I just wanted to sit with my husband and eat lunch before he finished. I pointed out that a burger takes only about seven seconds to make—where was my burger? After about two minutes, my cheeseburger finally returned to me. When I went to eat it, I discovered the meat quality was terrible and there were no onions on it after all that hassle! I asked for a refund, and every time I tried to explain what was wrong, the young lady just said, “No problem,” repeatedly. The so-called manager came out and stood by the register without saying a word to me. I told him that the burger hadn’t been made correctly after everything, and again, the young lady replied “no problem.” The manager didn’t ask anything or say anything but just looked at me as if I were an alien. I will never, ever return to another Hardee's as long as I live. There was no one else waiting for food besides us and the drive-thru customers. The service was terrible. The dark-haired young man who was serving at the tables was nice—kudos to him. I mentioned to the manager that the cook needed some guidance, but she didn’t respond. This happened on October 28th at 2 PM, and I left feeling hungry! Also, the coupons advertised a double cheeseburger, but that really means it comes without lettuce or tomato. Very disappointing! There is a desperate need for training in several areas. Personal rating: Food 1 (worse than Burger King), Staff 7, Manager 1.
I observed the preparation of four burgers while at the drive-thru. Eventually, I asked another young lady where my burger was, and she offered me fresh fries. I told her I didn’t want fresh fries; I just needed my burger heated so I could enjoy my lunch with my husband before he finished eating. I mentioned it would only take 7 seconds to microwave a burger, but where was mine? After about two minutes, my cheeseburger finally came back. I bit into it and was disappointed—the quality of the meat was terrible, and there were no onions after all that hassle! I requested a refund, but the young lady seemed uninterested as I tried to explain the issue. The so-called manager came out but didn’t engage with me at all. I told him the burger wasn’t made correctly, yet the young lady just kept saying, "no problem." The manager stood there staring at me as if I were from another planet, without asking any questions or saying a word. I’ve made the decision never to return to another Hardee’s. There was hardly anyone else waiting for their food, just us and a couple of other cars in line. The service was atrocious. One young man with dark hair, who wasn’t the one who handed me my burger but was rather delivering food to tables, was quite pleasant; kudos to him. I suggested to the manager that the young man preparing the burgers needed some direction, but again, she remained silent. I was starving! The coupons advertised a double cheeseburger, but it turned out that meant no lettuce or tomatoes on the sandwich. Very disappointing. There’s a clear need for better training in several areas. Overall assessment: food 1 (it’s like Burger King but worse), staff 7, manager 1.
