Grand Slam Subs - Neptune City

I went to Pete Elda's for some pizza and wings and it was delicious. We had meatball double extra big pizza. We have sweet Chili and Chipotle Bbq wings. Wings are standard deep fried no ruffle wings. Pretty big. The pizza is super thin and has a nice crust. If you know what bar cake is, that is what they serve here and it is excellent. Check the pictures.

I've been here for years and I won't stop soon. I have to admit, I'm just coming for the pizzas because I can't get away from them! Unique and amazing, I come regularly monthly to eat my t-shirt pizza . Very thin crust, crispy, delicious!

We came on recommendation from my oldest son and his friend. We came and the place was full. We decided to wait as they told us, the pizza was great! So we waited 30 minutes, not too bad. We sat down and ordered our food right away. We ordered a double extra large level and an extra large half pepperoni, half garlic and fried Calamari as an appetizer. We waited and waited for our food to come, our waitress hasn't even checked for us. I just apologised for being very busy, but then saw others sitting after us serving. Finally, 45 min later, the waitress waved down and asked why we had not received our food and others who came after us. Their answer was: “oh, you haven’t received your Calamari yet.” Almost an hour later we got our pizza and Calamari. No manager wanted to apologize for the delay. Nothing. The pizzas were good, thin crust, just in case you're hungry. Because of the service or lack out there, I give them three stars. The pizzas were good. Update...will be back on the shore. Much better experience. I sat and served quite fast this time. It wasn't as full as the first time. We ordered two extra large cheese pizzas and they were delicious. Overall, the service was also much more attentive and friendly! We will most likely be back for the delicious thin crust pizza... Maybe next time you try to jump.

Our first time visit . place was quite good, although super crowded. Service was average for the crowd. We only got a barcake at the bar and it took a long time, but it was worth it. Pizza was very good. Beverages and prices were with other places I was at. Bar area could use more tvs. Overall, I would recommend, but I would say go early to avoid the masses.

I’m always skeptical of thin crust, but man this pizza hit the spot! Great taste and loved the cheese. Two of us split an 18 inch and had an appetizer and were good to go! The fried ravioli was delicious. Staff was super friendly! Will definitely be back.
