J&J is always a hit, whether it’s fresh seafood or something hot from their kitchen. We love their fried whole belly clams with homemade tartar sauce and they have an excellent selection of shellfish to take home (or have them steam for you! Clams are a touch more well done than other places but the extra flavor is delicious with a spritz of lemon! Great prices on whole fish and shellfish alike (tons of clam varieties, mussels, lobster, oysters, etc . All service done with a smile.

A solid 12/10. I moved to the area almost a year ago and have been wanting to stop here ever since. I decided to finally stop here after a hike and grabbed a crab cake sandwich.. SO. GOOD. Their cornbread is also delicious ?

Crunchy and delicious fried grouper sandwich, tuna, or occasionally monkfish bites are delicious, as well as many other items on the menu. Beautiful fresh fish, crabs, and octopus...what more could you ask for!

This place is a solid staple in the Monmouth county community. I have loved on the area for decades and I must say this was the first time I went. I heard some great things about it but for some reason it just never happened. I’m glad that I stopped by. My aunt enjoyed her fish sandwich. It was a great portion and fresh. I’ll definitely be making another stop here.
