Café Und Am Treptower Tor Café

After few hours of wandering around Neubrandenburg we thought it would be good idea to take a little break from Gothic architecture and history. We were looking for something with local flavour. Didn 't take us long to find Cafe Und Restaurant Am Treptower Tor. It just sat there, next to small square and just few steps away from Treptower city gate. We weren 't hungry. We just needed to sit down somewhere, sip a hot coffee and think where to go next. Because it was a bit cloudy and cold we 've decided to sit inside. I 'm not a sweet tooth, but once we were there we though, well, why not to take something for a coffee? And the dessert o our choice was...cake! With fruits. Oranges, or clementines. Can 't remember it now. And that was a good choice. There weren 't many guests inside, so we were served very quickly. Place was nice and tidy, staff was friendly, coffee aromatic and cake just superb.
