On recommendation we found them in the “Golden Ochsen” in Bauschlott (7 km southwest of Maulbronn and 8 km north of Pforzheim). The inn is conveniently located at the intersection of B294 with the highway to Maulbronn. The room is furnished in a modern country house style. The service (in our case probably the boss himself) was attentive, fast and friendly. The map offers all kinds, especially deculent, from the region: meat, fish, poultry in the local middle presize segment. I chose acid roasts with red cabbage and no, not with lumps, as I otherwise know, but Swabian-typical with late zle (for, I think about 13 €uro) There was a salad plate that could also be made in size and selection at the salad bar. A great idea. The waiting time for food moved in the normal range. The section was sufficiently large. Saucen supplement was offered by the host and accepted by us gratefully. It tastes good. Instead of 2 thicker, however, I would have had 4 thinner meat slices, and for my taste the sour roast could have been sour. Conclusion: Schöner Landgasthof – recommended.
