Alexander's Station Steakhouse And Event Center

This restaurant is top-notch in every aspect. The owners, a fantastic couple, are fulfilling their dream. They serve farm-to-table organic vegetables from their own garden. Lisa manages a well-run team of servers. The interior decor is charming, and the outdoor patio has a lovely ambiance, surrounded by greenery with a babbling waterfall. Chef Vince prepares creative and delicious dishes. Although prices may be a bit higher, the overall dining experience is of high quality.

We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal. To start, we enjoyed the escargot. My husband had the perfectly cooked NY steak with a delicious Caesar salad. I opted for the Beef Wellington with a side of soup. For dessert, we couldn't resist the crème brûlée and the chocolate soufflé. Every dish we sampled was outstanding and we highly recommend everything we tried.

My wife and I ordered the filet mignon "Flash Special" at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the filet had a strip of tough connective tissue running down the middle, making it very difficult to chew. This was disappointing to me, as I expected better quality from a steakhouse. I had made reservations and requested the special for two, which was supposed to include a chocolate mousse for dessert that my wife was excited about. However, when it came time for dessert, we were given a pastry instead because they had run out of mousse. Overall, we were both very disappointed with the meal and are unlikely to return to this restaurant in the future.

My daughter and I had a wonderful dinner starting with the freshest, well-dressed garden salads. Our main entree choices were the grilled salmon and beef Wellington followed by dessert including chocolate mousse cake and Profiteroles (best dessert we’ve ever had! Every aspect of this dinner was top notch. Our waiter, Ryan, was very personable and definitely knows his stuff…wondered if he was also a chef, based on his representation of each menu item. The atmosphere on the patio was so pleasant with the waterfall sounds and sight in the background. We highly recommend Alexander’s Station House in Nevada City. ?

It was such n amazing place food was out of this world amazing great view got to sit out side and lesson to the water fall I most definitely recommend checking this place out I will be returning u can count on that
