I highly recommend this little cafe. They have amazing freshly made pastries and good coffee and teas

This place not only does coffee, they also bake all their pastries and bagels! Located behind the Nevada City SPD, sitting atop the Saw Shop, is this quaint little spot. They have lunch specials- my favorite is their Friday Hamburger. Burger (from spd butcher , homemade bun, avo, bacon and TLC (see what I did there? with a side of fries for 8 bucks! Even if it went up, I don't even think it's 10.00. So worth it. Simplicity at its finest. Coffee is great and the family has a long history as bakers in these hills. I also love their ham cheese croissants. CASH ONLY, but a quick stop in spd can solve that issue.

Great spot to grab a drink and catch up on emails or read the paper. The service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. They accommodated my request and the hot chocolate was fantastic!

Love this place!! Excellent coffee and wonderful people.
