Gobblers Roost - Nevada

This place is really a hidden gem. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is top notch, and the food is incredible. I had a perfect KC stripe and my wife got the apple wood smoked Jumbo pork chop. If they say Jumbo, they're not a joke! For what you get, the prices are very reasonable and I can't wait until another opportunity returns. I'd give it six stars if I could!

Tonight we went to a small street for dinner at The Gobblers Roost in Nevada, Mo. OMGOSH you, this place is amazing! Biggest **** and KC strip we've ever had! Also the fillet Mignon and the salmon were excellent. Plus baked potatoes, green beans, appetizers, salads, soup, fresh bread and delicious carrot cake. The owners were so nice and checked several times on each table. All employees were also wonderful. Our waiter was excellent! The whole dinner was INCREDIBLE and we have enough leftovers for a few days! Just WOW! Definitely back there!

Just one of the best meals I've ever had! Wonderful atmosphere perfect for Date Night. Friendly and efficient staff. Our courses were perfectly matched so that we can enjoy any course without waiting too long for the next. We will be absolutely back!

I can’t say enough great things about this place! The atmosphere, food, the staff, Kent and Kathy (the owners) make this the best dining experience you will ever have! The 5 course meal is beyond any expectation that you may have. They make you feel so welcomed and shower you with the best meal EVER. I give them 10 stars
