Asian Buffet - New Albany

I had a delightful experience at the luncheon buffet. For just $11.99, I enjoyed a variety of salad options, kimchi peel-and-eat shrimp, soups, a small selection of sushi, and various typical Chinese dishes and sides. The food was fresh and served at the perfect temperatures during lunchtime. The service was also commendable. I definitely plan to return!

My husband and I enjoy buffets when we're short on time but still want a nice meal instead of fast food. He particularly loves their seafood, while I prefer what I consider "regular" food.

The quality of the food surpassed your typical Chinese buffet fare. We were all pleasantly surprised and thrilled that we chose this location. There are many options in the area, but I highly recommend driving an extra five miles to get to this one – it's definitely worth it and conveniently located near the interstate. My husband particularly loved the honey croissants, which we've never encountered before; they were a unique treat. They also served frog legs, various shrimp and seafood dishes, and a build-your-own hibachi plate, in addition to a selection of chicken dishes. The desserts were surprisingly flavorful! Unlike many Chinese buffets where the desserts can be bland, these were delicious. They also had an extensive array of condiments on hand – perhaps too many, but it was a nice touch. The Cajun feast was another delightful surprise, and the bourbon chicken was a standout. The only drawbacks were that I noticed only one beef dish on the menu, which I can understand given the ongoing beef shortages, and the sushi was just average – not the best I've had but certainly not the worst either. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice. Although we were initially concerned about dining at a buffet during Covid, the staff was diligent about cleaning and made us feel comfortable. The experience was great, and the food was delicious!

The food is excellent and of high quality, but I find it to be a bit overpriced. That's why I'm giving it a 4-star rating, particularly because the seafood options are quite limited.

The sushi is excellent, and there are plenty of options on the buffet. I really wish they would bring back the beef and broccoli; it's my favorite. The grill offers great choices to prepare your meal just the way you want it. The chef does a fantastic job and is very accommodating with cooking your selections!
