Cattleman's Roadhouse - New Albany

I went to this restaurant for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the customer service was exceptional. The atmosphere of the restaurant had a traditional steakhouse feel and everything at the bar was fresh and delicious. We ordered ribeye steaks which were cooked perfectly and the fried pickles were amazing. The whole meal was delicious and the chocolate layer moose cake was decadent. The lava cakes were the perfect way to end a perfect dinner. If you haven't been here yet, you must try it out.

My wife and daughter went out of town, so my 11-year-old son and I had a special boys only' weekend. We decided to go to Cattleman's in New Albany. I love the salad bar, so that's all I ordered. My son had a kids meal. The food was good, but the service was HORRIBLE. Apparently since we weren't ordering an expensive meal, our waitress didn't think we were worth her time. She never brought us rolls until we asked, it was impossible to get refills on drinks. and all of our plates/cups were stacked on the table. Sjhe never even checked if we needed anything. Just because we don't order steaks and have a $100 bill, doesn't mean we shouldn't get quality service. Some may say the staff was short handed, but that wasn't the case. We saw our waitress just aimlessly walking around and checking on her other tables, but not us. I LOVE Cattleman's, but after this experience, I may never return.

My son and I decided to eat there for the first time on his birthday. The place was busy, but we were seated fast. The food was delicious and our waiter was amazing, he was laid back, attentive, and made our experience the best possible. The food was very good, although somewhat pricey, except for the loaded fries which were cold, kinda hard, and just tasted kind of old. The rest of our meal, including dessert, was really good and we will be back.

Only been here for dinner once, however have been here for lunch multiple times while myself and a coworker were in the area for work for several weeks.I would highly recommend Cattleman's. The service is excellent, if you like salad bars, theirs is spectacular. The sirloin that I have had there have all been perfectly cooked.I cannot say enough about this place. I just wish these guys were up in Michigan where I live.

We had a good experience here. The staff were friendly, and our meal was served quickly. They have a decent salad bar and hot rolls. I ordered the fried pork chop with mashed potatoes. It was crispy and didn't taste overwhelming like fried breading like many places. It's a decent place to stop.
