Hudson 29 New Albany

The food was fantastic! The prices were in line with other similar restaurants, but the dining experience was far superior. I adored the variety on the menu. My husband particularly enjoyed the Bolognese, claiming it was just as good as what he has eaten in Italy. He's quite particular about Italian cuisine, so that's definitely a compliment!

My wife and I had yet another wonderful meal and a delightful evening at Hudson 29.

We had been hesitant to have lunch at Hudson 29 recently because the menu felt stale and repetitive, which was quite disappointing. We weren't sure if it was an issue with OpenTable or Hudson 29, but it definitely needed addressing. Fortunately, our experiences were overall positive; however, we will likely hold off on returning for a while.

Set a reservation for inside seating. Was sat outside in temp seething in 30 degrees. Walked back and asked for our reservation of an inside and was told no we would have to wait even longer for our 6:30 res that didn’t seat us until 6:45. It was cold and so loud. The drinks took 15 mins and the appetizers we so bad we opted to just pay and go else where to eat dinner indoors. Front door staff are children who do not have a concern or care for service. Hudson has jumped the shark and is in cap city territory of mid level food and awful service. Won’t be back to sit outside in winter and buy a 70$ steak.
