Rafters On The Water - New Albany

Walked down from the truck stop to watch some football. Macy the bartender was very friendly and nice. Had the blackened catfish with Cajun green beans and okra. Probably the best meal I've had this year. Will definitely come back. This place is a jewel. Highly recommend.

I gave 4 stars mostly because the waitress wad excellent! The food was better than average. The menu is Cajun type foods. Most all of my large party were happy with their meals. The appetizers we had were pretty good also. I would personally like to see a few healthy choices on the menu. I really enjoyed the outside eating area.

Rafters' food was so good! Amazing really! I got the BLT w/ cheese grits and my husband got the Smoky Jalapeño burger w/chips! Everything was sooooooo good! I can't say enough about how good it all was. Our server was a young man... he was very friendly and helpful (helped my husband find a new beer... he loved both suggested beers and he is picky)! This is a half way point for us traveling between OK and GA... so we plan to eat here every time we pass through!

We stopped here during this last Spring Break before and were blown away by the food, service and fun atmosphere. Lunch last time, tonight was dinner and it was just as good if not better haha! The Poulet Jubilee is one of the best dishes I've had anywhere. Hubs really likes the blacked Catfish Platter. Our waitress was super accomodating and outgoing. One of these times it will work out where we can catch a band. See ya next time! ?????

Fun bar and grill with great food. We loved the fried mushrooms and the crawfish rolls! The service was very slow on a Friday early afternoon. Cool atmosphere, good for families. Would enjoy going back for live music.
