Tomo Japanese - New Albany

I took my grandson there for his 9th birthday first ever Hibachi grill and Japanese steakhouse. He was over the top with everything! While there he told the staff they were a 10 along with the food and should receive a 5 star rating. On the drive home he said I think I would give them a 19 out of 10. The service was great, the staff was great and the food was amazing. Would recommend over and over. Keep up the good work Tomo, I got other grandbabies to bring back as soon as I can get them to try some different foods so they to can enjoy it! Here are your 5 stars he is sure you earn daily.

Sushi Date Night. When you visit Tomo's, try to get Patrick as your hibachi chef. Your experience will surpass what you were expecting.

So much fun with our family to gather together at the hibachi grill. Our chef was awesome. His fun interaction with the kids was especially noteworthy. The deep fried spicy tuna roll was very tasty. The Teriyaki Shrimp I had was flavorful and the veggies weren't over cooked. Served with fried rice. Choice of salad or broth. I chose the salad which had fresh crisp lettuce and a ginger house dressing. Refreshing! The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. The grill we sat at accommodated our group of 12 very comfortably. There is a separate dining room if you aren't doing the hibachi grill.
