Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries - New Bern

Very clean and the ladies work there, welcome everyone coming and thank you leave everyone. Haven?t has seen a great customer service so and has made my overall experience a joy. that came as I ordered and plentiful for the prices. I have to say that the wobble rings were the best I had. great job damen and I will be back.

Service was the best in this place, sweet waiter. Unfortunately, if you are looking to get full, this is not the place to go. I didn't get enough food, and I ordered the shrimp pony and pommes. Everything tasted great, but the cup of the pommes was not full. Then I ordered ice cream and it was maybe just a pot of ice when I said it would be two pots. It cost two adults and one child almost forty dollars!! Yikes!

The other night is stopped here. It's my first time in this Hwy55. It was when I arrived and waited immediately. The parking lot was a little tricky. I could have parked on the grass as the shield said. The cheese steak looked and tasted differently. Not better, not really worse, just different. The dampened roll looked and tasted differently. It wasn't so damp and seemed thicker. The frits were hot and fresh. Had to go to the counter for a refill. Many employees, and someone trained. It seemed like there was confusion among the ranks. The trainee and trainee had not waited a table there. I saw a little stress for me... Restaurant clean and tidy. Not sure if I return to this special Hwy55.

Very disappointed. Had been craving the cheesesteak, dined in and it was so greasy, skimpy on meat and the mushrooms and onions. Onion rings were from bottom of the bag and coating was off and they were burned. Tater tots were only good part. Waitress was a sweetheart but overwhelmed while other waitress sort of just floated around. Cook apologized for onion rings but we would have been happier if we were told they were all out instead. Staff were polite.
