Chicken Express - New Braunfels

Blah blah blah! We loved this place, but the chicken is so in the middle of the street. Not to mention that the pieces (especially the legs) are laughingly small. The leg was the size of a drumstick you got on a chicken wing joint - my year old ate 2 and was still hungry. The biggest problem I have when I stop here is how broken I feel when I move away. Last week we got a 3 piece meal and the special, which was like 15 or 20 offers with rolls and for an additional amount we got a family side dish-not with a gallon tea more. Who was told and done, the sum was just shy of $50.00. It's not worth it! I will avoid this chicken stall from now on

No big fan. Second visit in as many months. Chicken isn't horrible, just bland looking and plain. Biscuits lack any sort of real traditional biscuit flavor. Just a bunch of dry dough. I've tried New Bruanfels and San Marcos locations. Simply not the best chicken around. But not the worst either. Won't go again unless on last choice list.

Disappointed with the bite size hot wings, the bone in were way better, what happendto those ...a couple of the 8 i ordered were just crust, everything else was fine.

Chicken Express is one of the best places to get fried chicken tenders! They have good size tenders, and even if they do not they will give you one or two extra to make up for a smaller tender. The tenders come with cream gravy that is excellent. They also have a variety of sides. Our favorites are the green beans which are Italian style, the mashed potatoes and okra. I like their ice tea, especially during happy hour at .50 which I believe is 2 to 4 PM but check that out. If you order the express tenders it comes with a biscuit or a roll and gravy but that?s all, you have to order combo if you want a side and drink. If you live in new Braunfels they often have coupons in a mailer that we use. We recommend Chicken Express! I also know that they are community minded!

This has always been my go to place after work. The employees are always so friendly and helpful and I have always had a really good experience. However. This time. The chicken was so extremely dry. It smelled and tasted like it was old. I called up the manager, GLORIA( she refused to give me her last name) and very nicely explained we never had this problem before. GLORIA told me, she had nothing to compare it too, what ever that means. And that she would give me 4 free pieces of chicken..Chicken express cost 23.00 for an 8 pieces. It is incredibly high. So yes,, I expect it to be edible. If it is inedible, and I explained how it was, she Should be more than willing to make it right..but all i got was attitude. ..and did I get upset and say a few choice words. yes I did, for she was the most rude. Obnoxious, individual I have met. In a long while..I own my own business and we go out of our way to make a wrong, right...
