Jose Tacos - New Braunfels

Awesome street tacos. Just like in Southern California. Two carne asada and two al pastor. With a bit of grilled onions.

The food is good but they've been closed 3 of the last 5 times I've driven there... All during open business hours posted on Google maps.

Jose's taco truck is our new favorite! They are fantastic when eating normal (with carbs). But they hooked it up when we asked for low carb!! They gave us all the fixings....avocado, lettuce, onion, salsa, Pico, and we ordered fajita chicken, pastor, and asada as our meat, and just bought our own low carb tortillas at the store. Most people look at us like we have 3 heads when we ask for no tortillas ?, but they knew exactly what we wanted! And they are always so friendly and will bring your food to your vehicle while you wait. This will definitely be our go-to pick-up Mexican joint!!

The cabana bowl with chicken was decent, prices pretty average but did go back another night and ordered the combo plate. It was delicious!

These are the best tacos I've ever had in the United States—truly authentic Mexican cuisine.
