Spud Ranch - New Braunfels

What a great place for a quick bite. We had the brisket spud, spicy chicken spud (I would recommend double chicken , and of course, the fries were great. Service was quick with a laid-back atmosphere. Whole place seats about 40. Cold Shiner, too :

TL;DR It's the best. Eat here. We stopped here right before they closed and our frito pie, brisket spud, and chili burger spud were ready in about 5 minutes. My chili burger spud was the best baked potato I've ever had, hands down. The brisket spud was absolutely incredible. The whole ride to the hotel, I was worried about the frito pie getting soggy because we had to stop at HEB before going to the hotel to eat. We didn't have any utensils available. Then we opened the frito pie and found utensils and all the ingredients uncombined. NO SOGGY FRITO PIE! This place clearly cares about the details and knocked it out if the park. We will definitely return every time we're in town.

Please make the Chopped Steak Spud a permanent addition to your menu ... it's really great!!!

Absolute fire. had to stop at the san marcos location on our way out of town just to grab another! potatoes are baked to perfection buttered well. loved the chicken fried chicken potato with the gravy and toast!!
