The Faust Hotel & Brewing Company

When I heard the rooms are small, boi were they not kidding. There’s barely any room in the restroom. You can take a shower, use the restroom and brush your teeth in the sink at the same time.But it’s a cute hotel though.I know there’s larger rooms and my wife booked the room. Not going to bust her b&lls for it though. It was hilarious how small it was.The concierge was friendly and respectful.

Amazing historic hotel right in the heart of New Braunfels. Rooms are modernized, but they saved the 95 year old charm. The staff makes this hotel one we will return to many times. The hospitality manager, Eric, is one of the best I have ever known. He cares and so does his staff. From dining recommendations to remembering all of our names, Eric really makes a difference.Noteworthy details: The staff is amazing! Eric is awesome!!

Quaint but damn small rooms and difficult to get up and down stairs. Not my idea of a cool hotel. Was perfect location for an event I attended but wouldn’t recommend to others. No bar or restaurant, rooms and bathrooms super small and doesn’t feel cozy. Cool courtyard but just not enough going on here to stay. Plus, it was as expensive as more upscale hotels in area.

The hotel is a lovely old historical hotel. The room was small but the queen bed was very comfortable. The water was very hot for the shower. The bathroom is tile and marble. The a/C worked well and was backed up by a ceiling fan. The lobby is late 1800's decor. Lots of seating and tables.Nearby activities: Right in center of downtown. Walk to restaurants, bars, river outfitters. Winery. Shopping in boutiques,antique stores, theater. Deer watching.Safety: Have always felt safe walking around in Bew Braunfels. Police patrol frequently.Walkability: Lots of places within walking distance of a block or three. Restaurants, wineries, bars, convention center, churches, river tubing, boutiques and a variety of places to explore.Food drinks: They have a patio that serves drinks and bar food from 4-9pm. Live music sometimes.

Enjoyed staying at the Faust Hotel. The staff was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful! Michelle was amazing! We would definitely stay there again! And not to be repeating myself...it was Michelle's warm and welcoming personality that won me over! The Hotel itself was pretty awesome and very clean!Thank you again Michelle for making us feel at home!??
