We saw afternoon tea advertised by them on the seafront while we were on a family day out. My children had never had an afternoon tea before so I thought it would be a nice new experience. We weren't disappointed. When we arrived at the tearoom they were unfortunately full with more bookings to come but the lady serving at the time sorry I didn't get your name : took my phone number and said they would try and squeeze us in. Half an hour later I got a call to say they had managed to free us a table! Amazing! We all ordered afternoon tea and it was delicious. The tea was loose leaf and refillable. The food was fresh and tasty. You received a choice of sandwiches and there was a good selection. The cakes were obviously fresh and homemade. They offer a children's afternoon tea too which many places don't. My kids loved it. They had sandwiches and cakes but also little sweets too. It was great value too considering what you can pay for afternoon tea, less than £40 for a family of 4. Would love to go back. Would recommend to book ahead though as it is obviously a popular place to go.
A cosy place just off the promenade to enjoy a lovely pot of tea and a slice of homemade cake. The decor is lovely and I wish more places existed like this. The staff are warm and friendly. Will definitely visit again
Family visit on a busy Sunday afternoon. The staff were attentive and genuine. The atmosphere is superb, even decorated for autumn. Very nice tea, coffee and cheesecake. Will be back again.
Welcoming, Cosy Friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Proper tea (leaves). Great food. The walls ceilings, in fact every inch of this beautiful tea room is covered in nostalgia, so much to look at. The BEST tea room we have visited in long time.
