Chili's Grill - New Britain

My experience at this restaurant was terrible due to the wait time. My food sat on the shelf for an additional 20 minutes after the pick-up time. I asked the General Manager, Amari, to cancel my order. However, instead of inquiring about the issue, she rudely informed me that it would take 10-15 days for a refund and for me to receive proof of cancellation via email. They need to improve their customer service skills. This incident occurred at the Chili's on Hartford Road near West Farms Mall in New Britain.

My recent experience at Texas Roadhouse in Manchester was satisfactory in terms of the food, but the service was subpar. It took us 20 minutes to be seated, even though it was not yet noon. In comparison, Chili's was a delight. Good job, guys!

I typically do not write negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was the worst I have ever had. When we arrived, we were stared at awkwardly without being greeted. I had to approach the hostess, who was rude and seemed to be racist, as she told us to wait without even listening to my question. Our waitress was kind and understanding, especially with our two children. However, when we asked for the bill, we were given two separate bills and were confused. After waiting for 15 minutes, we had to seek out someone for clarification. The manager then came over and told us we owed the additional bill, making us feel as if we were inexperienced or foolish. Despite bringing up our concerns in front of our small children, there was no compassion or understanding shown. I would not return to this restaurant and strongly advise others not to either if they understand what I am saying.

I will probably not be ordering from Chili’s again. Food was definitely below par. Great service. Food was Prepared in a timely fashion. Brought curbside when they said it would. Food preparation needs to be better.

Love chili's pretty much always a good experience expect for one time where I actually left the restaurant but that was due to rude customers and management at the time. I didn't hold that one experience to them because I have been to chili's for years. Generally pleasant staff, and who can beat the 3 for 10.99 or any of their deals? They offer a good variety of options and I love rewards!!
