Polmart - New Britain

This is a small store with several sections featuring a variety of items. One area is dedicated to bread, fresh vegetables, and fruits, while another offers non-perishable foods. There's also a section for fish and meat, as well as magazines. Additionally, they have a small post office where you can perform basic tasks like sending packages, mailing letters, or buying stamps. It's quite convenient. While it's a bit unconventional, it's a lovely place to shop.

This deli minimart is very clean and efficient. They have an excellent meat counter and a great bakery section. You'll also find a good selection of canned and boxed Polish foods. The service is fast and friendly.

Fantastic supermarket featuring a selection of hard-to-find European products, particularly from Poland. Many items here are unique to this region and unavailable elsewhere in New England. Definitely a special place!

This weekend, we visited 'Little Poland' in New Britain and decided to check out Polmart, one of the few ethnic grocery stores in the area, in hopes of finding Ukrainian-style borscht. Unfortunately, we didn’t find what we were looking for here or at the other places we visited. While we had a great time at Polmart, we ended up leaving empty-handed.

The place is decent. It's a small and somewhat cramped store, but they offer a great variety of Polish selections. The staff and most of the other customers are friendly and accommodating. However, there are always a few rude individuals who tend to push their way past you.
