Don't be intimidated by the Polish signage at first, you'll see English translations on the board and the friendly girl dishing up the hearty fare speaks English anyway. Everything we ate over 2 days (in a row! of lunches was delicious!
First time here. Polish pizzas and sandwiches. I chose the contractor sandwich which had egg, cheese hash brown and kielbasa. It was toasted on a roll with ketchup. I would try the garlic butter sauce next time. I enjoyed this with a hot coffee and a cold pressed juice. The kielbasa was delicious and we found out it's locally sold in the Polish shops in town. Our server was helpful and pleasant. The restaurant was very cozy and clean in a nice location.
Good food and great value! The young lady behind the counter was super nice!Food: 4/5
I ordered golabki and when I brought them home, they smelled terrible and were spoiled. I paid for my large order, and didn't receive everything that I paid for. Most of the food is good, if you're going to make a large order, make sure you check everything before you leave. When I called, they were defensive and accused me of tampering with the food.
One of the best eateries in Connecticut.Healthy, hardy, wholesome and delicious ?Definitely worth the trip, try my favorite (soup of the day) always hot, and or any other soup. Please come hungry and leave satisfied, don't forget your veggie sides and leave room for a variety of amazing desserts. ?
