Mariachi band running around to search for tips. many funny vibes, but somehow strange, imho. I thought I was out in another night. that means the waiting staff was nice, no problems with the service as mentioned in other posts. eating was overpriced; quality was good, but not great. all fresh. we shared an interesting guacamole that served by roasted paprika and garlic with what is like homemade tortilla chips. I thought the chips needed salt, but they were fresh. I had a cauliflower kalk taco that was interesting, and daughter said they enjoyed their taco filled with chimmichurri steak. the pfirsich cake was with liquid oozing, not my idea of a good pfirsiche, but it was delicious. Don't think I'm going back.
This was our first visit to fat cactus and it will not be our last. we were very impressed by the service. we were welcomed as soon as they arrived, provided with a menu, and the waiting staff checked for us how we looked at the extensive menu. I ordered the protabello enchilada, my friend ordered the cocosnuss garnelen burrito. both were very good. we also ordered the Mexican mais on the cob, and that was absolutely excellent! we attended a concert in the sate theatre, and the restaurant is too walking, so comfortable.
Eating is a great service terrible. sa from hostesses without menus. had to ask twice to get both a meal and a drink menu. had to ask a bus boy to get our drinks and refills of chips w/ salsa. apparently understated. also made a reservation and sat in the very loud bar area, which was also not appreciated.
Miguel was an excellent waiter, the beak steak was tender and tasty, so the al pastor tacos garnelen taco was not so much fishy
Good food, good service, at a fair price. Music was loud.
