Now, don't get me wrong my two rolls were extremely fresh but I didn't get that flavor I wanted. I've been to a million other sushi places and this place just doesn't compare at all. The good thing about this was that the delivery was very fast but that's just about the best I can say about this place. As for the atmosphere of this place I didn't have the pleasure of actually dining here so I can't comment on that. Despite the lack of flavor in my shrimp tempura roll and my salmon and avocado roll I might be able to give this place another try if I come in and dine perhaps I might have a better experience.
The place was so clean, the staff was amazing. Best sushi I have had so far. I would definitely go back again. I am sure I now have a place to go when I need some amazing sushi
We were invited here for a little sushi and soul music on a Friday night. They had a DJ, an emcee and an acoustic singer who was really good. The entertainment was great but I didn't think there was much ambience. The front of this restaurant is all windows and at the top of the outside awning are very bright florescent lights. This illuminates the entire dining room and bar in an unflattering light. We parked ourselves at the bar and had drinks and a couple of specialty rolls. I immediately checked in and a 10% off offer popped up which I showed the bartender. He stated that they don't honor this discount anymore but he would for me. The rolls took about 45 minutes to arrive. My wife's Moscow Mule gave her a splitting headache and I asked for my rolls with brown rice. The bartender even repeated it back to me. Of course when it arrived, it was made with white rice. When the bartender asked if I wanted them to make some more, I said no, just take this back and subtract it from my bill. About 15 minutes later, he delivered the correct rolls which I did not want to eat for obvious reasons (I never eat after I've made a complaint). The people in my group ended up eating them and I paid for them (no discount).
Restaurant is understaffed on a Friday night and our server was missing half of the time. Sushi rolls were terrible and not tasty. Was told our beef dish was unavailable only after 20 mins after we ordered. It's such a mess ! Skip this place, it's awful. Heard from friend that new management took over about 3 weeks back. Sad
As I waited in the car, listening to Pandora, I noticed the same worker coming outside to smoke a cigarette twice. This wasn’t the most pleasant sight, but as long as he kept his hands to himself, I could overlook it. Here’s what we ordered: Cajun Fish Taco with Fries, Sashimi Lunch, Salmon Skin Handroll, Spicy Salmon Handroll, and Spicy Tuna Handroll. It’s not easy for me to find a soft taco I really enjoy. Unfortunately, the fish taco was a bit bland and had a soft, chewy texture. I appreciated the tiny mango pieces, but overall, it just didn’t come together well. Since I paid for it, I made myself finish it, but I couldn’t help wishing it was a Taco Bell Supreme instead, with hot ground beef in a crunchy shell topped with sour cream. The sushi wasn’t high-quality but decent enough to satisfy my cravings. It was probably one of the first Asian fusion places I’ve tried that didn’t impress. If this review seems a bit scattered, it’s because I’ve been cooped up at home for too long. Just the thought of playing board games with my kid makes me cringe. We might all emerge from our homes looking a bit disheveled, but let’s not act too crazy—after all, as one of my favorite Yelpers says, peace out! P.S. They aren’t currently accepting the 10% off Yelp check-in.
