Baldanza Cafe - New Canaan

Baldanza is a lovely little cafe in the middle of New Canaan. The food was wonderful--none of the four of us had any complaints about appetizers, dinner or dessert. The service was attentive but leisurely, which was a real pleasure. However, the cost was excessive. We ordered three appetizers to share, two desserts, two drinks each, and pasta main courses. The price was about $350 for four people. Seriously? I know it's New Canaan, but that's absurd. Be warned before you go.

Big improvement since they first moved to this new location. I will be back.

Food was delicious... Table was ready at exact reservation time. We had a fun time as a family.

Weeknights are a bargain at Baldanza with good food and drink at low prices. But what made it great was being served by Vanessa, who is an excellent server and also doubles as a pastry chef. Try her muffins and scones guaranteed to hit the spot!

Haven’t had a bad meal here yet. Had brunch with a friend. Great eggs Benedict. Great dinners. Beet salad a work of art, crispy Parmesan chicken my favorite, but everything I’ve tried is terrific.
