Fantastic muffins! These muffins are delicious; pair them with some butter for a perfect morning treat.

Connecticut Muffin is a charming café located on Main Street. Upon entering, you'll find a small dining area with four cozy tables. The staff are friendly and make an effort to remember their customers' names. Their specialty is low-fat bran and yogurt muffins, but they also offer a variety of sweet treats like Red Velvet and Blackout Cupcakes, bear claws, Danish pastries, and apple tarts, all made in-house. For lunch, you can choose from tasty paninis, sandwiches, or soups. If you're not feeling hungry, you can simply relax with a cup of coffee or tea. I noticed that two of the four customers who arrived after I ordered a Morning Glory muffin (essentially a carrot muffin) had theirs sliced in half and roasted with butter, which sounds absolutely delicious—I’ll have to try that next time! This charming coffee and muffin shop is located in the heart of downtown New Canaan! I highly recommend starting your morning with a "Morning Glory" muffin paired with a cup of coffee.

You cannot go wrong with this charming café with a very European ambience. Pleasant, creative lighting, artistic visual menu selections, encourage you to examine well selected and perfected decisions. Coffee is always fresh, flavoured or not, almond milk available. Muffins rank the best in New Canaan, egg sandwiches are home-specificity, prepared for almost everything. Sandwiches offer a palate please and creative grouping of flavors combos, my favorite mozzarella and pesto panini. Sweets include lemon cake, magic bars and biscuits as you earn them... and brownies! You should really make this jewel a daily stop for cheerful service and great start for your day, lunch, pick-me-up break, house guests, well maintained event! Try the rotating soups! Hit the place regularly!

A very nice and reassuring experience all around. Wonderful friendly staff, best muffins I’ve ever had, so fresh, and good to see this eatery still going since I first visited in the early 1990s, but get to only occasionally because I live overseas.
