Monroe's Crossing - New Carlisle

This restaurant is fantastic! It's definitely a hidden gem. Situated alongside an inland lake, the views from the back deck and the bar area are absolutely stunning...

I've always had a great experience at this restaurant, and the food is excellent. The only issues I've noticed are occasional staffing shortages and inconsistent hours.

On a winter Sunday night, this restaurant is a wonderful place to visit—it's cozy and has a romantic atmosphere.

Monroe's crossing is new to us, but opening our new business down the street has giving us the opportunity to really get to know them. We go to work at 7:30 half hour before they open, we told them they should open earlier they did, they now open a hour earlier, that is the best service I have ever seen. They have wonderful food and a great staff...I love this place...I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! They handled all the catering for my wedding, and it was absolutely outstanding. The service was exceptional, and every member of the staff was incredibly supportive with everything we needed. The bartenders even stepped in to help clear away the empty plates from the tables. We arrived an hour early for our reception, and they were fully prepared to serve everyone right away. I’m so grateful for all their hard work, which made everything run smoothly! And the food was fantastic! I highly recommend them for any event!
