New Castle Farmers Market

I have loved this market for years!! You can get Amish offerings and fresh meats and produce. They have an awesome pizza place with the best tomato pie!! Lots to browse through and see and eat.

I love this place. It is huge inside. This was my first time going here. They just about anything that you might be looking for. If you can't find it inside, then go outside. I love plants. I found a plant shop there and the lady who owns it is so sweet and pleasant. Thank you for my beautiful plant that I bought for my home.

Good thing I got my booster shot. WAY too many people jam packed together in such narrow hallways and stores. And you definitely need to solve a restroom dilemma of not enough of them and out of order ones even in the few that are there.

New Castle County farmers market is a great way to spend an afternoon. There are so many choices to experience really good food. The Amish market is fabulous. There are two produce areas and the prices are really good lots of specialty stores and then of course there’s the flea market, you could spend a whole day there. It’s definitely worth a visit.

I’ve come here many times with my boyfriend he introduced me. Never had any negative experiences we always window shop and have made plenty of purchases. We stopped by the stall with all the biker merchandise. The one with all the belts and buckles displayed in front. We are taking a look around checking things out trying things on. WE WERE in the market to PURCHASE from this store until I GUESS the owner or whoever this man was decides to RUDELY come up to us and asks us why we are trying things on????? Isn’t that what you do when you are looking to purchase. No where in the store does it say not to browse and try things on. It’s hilarious because in the exact moment this man asks us to leave my boyfriend and I are discussing the price of a hat he was interested in buying. MIND YOU we are browsing TO PURCHASE. As the man is walking us out I can see that there is a big screen on the wall of security cameras. I understand paying a close eye on customers to ensure there is no theft. But my boyfriend and I are honest people and had zero intentions of stealing or making a fuss. It’s just been extremely disappointing and ruined our shopping experience. I do not recommend this farmers market unless you are interested in being harassed by the shop merchants.
