The Long Road Bar & Eatery - New Farm

Service, atmosphere and I said service. went into the movies about the street and wanted to speak a place before we all went to wise our seperate. we asked if they were still tea and coffee and fortunately for us. 2 pots. tee and I had a coffee. sat with speed and all were top-notch. all queries have been processed quickly and we felt welcome. I like attentive service and we have it here in spaten.

I love this place! many stockplates to choose from. eating is delicious, especially the otopus. I hope they never take it from the menu!

This was one of the best meals I've ever had!! Preferred the starters to the mains but mains were still good. Would go back here tomorrow in a heart beat!! Meals came out quickly but we were there early at 530. They also bought the...starters out as they were ready and didn't wait for them all to be ready at once which was good! Waitress was also good and kept asking us if we needed anything.

Not too much ambience but nice to have a new spot in an area lacking in 'good ' bars. The staff are friendly but there is a bit of a we don 't care vibe as the other reviewer has mentioned. Food is average please organise...your red wines to be slightly cooled! they 're are so hot!

We read a review in the Qantas mag so made a special visit and it wasn 't worth it. There was no ambience, the food was average and the service was average to poor. It was a quiet night we were the only ones inside...but to have the wait staff throw tea towels across the restaurant area to the wash up staff in the kitchen was just too much! The 'manager ' (if that was what he was) wandered around and didn 't speak to just just hung out around the bar. They may be new but not 'too cool for school ' I can 't see them lasting in such a competitive area.
