Brasserie 1912 At Hoburne Bashley

Pretty awful. I ordered the Poke bowl, it was dreadful with no flavour whatsoever. I couldn’t finish it. My husband had whitebait deep fried with chips, equally dreadful sadly.

Was a little unsure eating here looking at previous reviews but decided to give it a go. Well, we were all pleasantly surprised, all the food we ordered was excellent. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, also ordered a medium steak and a Thai curry, all delicious and filling, the kids all enjoyed their meals. The only advice I would give is to the waitress, to wait for everyone to be seated until they start taking drinks orders, and a drinks menu on the tables would also be handy. In all we would say give this place a try.

We are staying here for 2 weeks and decided to try the restaurant, the menu is limited the food was ok. The food came out on tin dishes, if I am having something to eat I would rather have it on a proper plate.

My husband and I visited while staying at the site. The staff and surroundings were lovely and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken dish, but I found my fish platter very ordinary I had been expecting something more delicious as the description sounded yummy. Will probably come again when we stay here again but will steer clear of the fish.

Good onsite restaurant with a limited but adequate menu food is of a high standard and the staff are excellent
