The Britannia Thai - New Forest

Wonderful authentic food. Easy parking at the front of the restaurant. Nice vibrant decor. Well priced. Food was delicately spiced. Sea bass Pad Cha, Pepper Beef and Prawn Pad Thai particular highlights but everything excellent. Service friendly.

Just got a takeaway from here and it has to be the WORST Thai food weve ever had. Doesnt even taste like Thai food whatsoever. The Thai basil chilli chicken is tasteless and the Papaya salad also bland no spice or flavour? Cannot understand why it has so many good reviews?! Waste of time driving 40 mins round trip to pick it up. Avoid!

We’ve been going to the Britannia Thai (Milford-on-Sea) for many years. We have never been disappointed. The ambience is fine, the head of house and staff delightful and the food gorgeous. We’ve hosted many family and groups of friends, there, even last minute “Can you fit us in?” type requests too. We’ve been accommodated brilliantly. Understandably, as in any restaurant, it can get busy sometimes, so delays can occur, but that shouldn’t detract from the enjoyment. I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

The food was delicious, the duck in tamarind sauce and the jungle curry was amazing. The service was good and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Very clean and smart decor throughout, really lovely dining experience.

We ordered a take away and the food was amazing! When we went to pick the food up the restaurant was full, which is a great sign. I would definitely recommend!
