Don’t rush over on a Saturday morning just because it says they sell out fast. You’re better to go to the Fox’s Den for cinnamon buns.
The smell of pizza baking in a stone oven sends your senses swirling. Then comes the gouda sampling! Full viewing of the gouda process. A must on you are on the Island.
I am puzzled by the glowing reviews for the pizza. We had two pizzas and found them both very bland. I think they needed a lot more seasoning. The texture was good and the crust was pretty good, but the actual toppings and cheese and sauce were quite tasteless. I have eaten a lot of pizza and this is among my least favourite.
Wood fired pizza with artisan cheese. What's not to love.I'm gf so did not get to enjoy the bread or pizza. But, the hubby said it was top notch. The herbed gouda is fantastic! I hear fantastic things about the Saturday morning cinnamon rolls. We will be back for those! Early, we hear as they sell out fast. The only reason we gave it a 4.8/5 was the heat! We realize this extra hot summer is out of the farms hands. But, some umbrellas outside on the picnic tables would have been an awesome touch. : We definitely will return. Your staff are very delightful.Side note: We didn't see any mini cheese wheels for purchase. But, we did not ask either.
