Hebel's - New Glasgow

Was there last week, fabulous service , atmosphere and food! Peter even made scallops St Jacque even tho they weren't on the menu.

We were looking for a quiet and upscale place to eat on our travels. This restaurant fit all our desires. It is in an old quaint Victorian and was quiet. The staff were attentive and we had a wonderful meal! Nice presentation of the food and perfectly prepared.

After touring through Canada this was a wonderful find. The food was really tasty, wine was good and everyone really friendly. The waitress introduced us to maple vodka which is fabulous, when we asked about it she told us where the distillery was and found an article in a magazine for us to take away.

Have been at Hebel's twice. Both times great entrées, meals and desserts. Always great suggestions for something special in wines, or just a simple drink. Great service, great food, a must go.

This place was amazing. Schnitzel is the best I've ever had. Vegetables were cooked perfectly too. Restaurant was in a neat old building and really well kept. If I lived locally, I'd definately come back.
