The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, which made for a frustrating experience. **Atmosphere:** 1/5 The atmosphere left much to be desired. The ambiance was dull and uninviting, making it hard to enjoy the meal. Overall, I was not impressed with my visit to this restaurant and wouldn’t recommend it for lunch.
This is the best Ecuadorian food I've ever tasted! The parrillada was incredible, the prices were very reasonable, and there was no wait at all. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I’m giving the food five stars, even though I haven’t tasted it yet. When I called today to place my first order, I spoke with a woman named Rosa. I had a couple of questions about two of the dishes, but Rosa told me she was too busy to assist and ended the call. I tried calling back, but she didn’t pick up. On my third attempt, I requested to speak to the manager, only to be informed that the manager had already left, and then she hung up on me again. It’s disappointing because I’ve heard wonderful things about the food, but the service needs significant improvement, as it affects the restaurant's reputation.
I recently stumbled upon this restaurant and had an amazing experience with their lunch specials! I noticed it while driving by and decided to give it a try, and I'm so pleased I did. The tempting aroma of freshly prepared food really draws you in, and it does not disappoint. The food is incredibly tasty! At only $12 for a chicken bowl and a soda, it's a fantastic deal. It's definitely a better choice than driving to Chipotle in Branford, where the ingredients aren't as fresh. I always prefer to support small businesses over larger chains. Keep up the great work! Service: Takeout.
The food here is solid; the chicken was juicy, and both the potato salad and the rice and beans were quite enjoyable. However, my main issue was with the customer service. I ordered nearly $30 worth of food and asked for extra aji verde sauce without any resistance from the staff. But when I got home, I discovered that I had only received one cup of sauce. When I called to inquire about getting more, I learned that extra sauce costs an additional $1 per cup and that they only provide one with each meal. I wish they had mentioned this while I was checking out; I would have gladly paid the extra dollar. This policy feels a bit unreasonable—if additional salsa is impacting your profits, perhaps you should consider adjusting your prices instead. Additionally, I noticed that the restaurant has a tight-knit Ecuadorian community, and it seemed like there was a somewhat unwelcoming vibe towards those who aren't Ecuadorian. If you don’t appear Ecuadorian, you might receive some strange looks and feel slightly out of place.
