Hungry Howie's Pizza - New Haven

I actually don't remember leaving this review, but now 5 years later I'll update it. I've been getting pizza and wings here for about 8 years, and it has always been fine. I mean it's Howies, it's not fancy or pricey. I'm actually moving hours away from here tomorrow morning and the food I got today has me ready to leave! The pizza itself is fine, kinda cold despite me arriving near my pickup time. The bbq wings??? It's obvious they're running out of bbq or they made my order wrong initially because it's mixed with the Asian chili sauce. It really doesn't taste great. My other issue is this Caesar salad. It's hard to find one that my husband won't eat but we both refuse to eat this. It's just bad, the chicken is just sooo bad! Idk why it's particularly awful today but I will not miss it.

My pizza took a hour to arrive it was cold crust was hard my pop was warm ill never get delivery again.

Samantha is amazing!! She always goes above and beyond, and is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Every time I get a delivery and see her face at my door. It brings a smile to my face. She deserves a raise above and beyond. To the owner of the store, please acknowledge her she’s a gem to keep.

Last time I ordered a delivery and got cinnamon sticks when they delivered them they didn't bring the icing. So they gave me the option to get a free bread next time or they would bring me the icing. I opted for a free bread since by the time I would've received the icing the bread would have been cold. Go to get it today and the manager says it's not on there and they would never offer me a free bread cause they for got the icing and maybe I already got it. No I didn't get it already and you're not a good manager to not honor what another manager already said. Terrible customer service.

Samantha deserves a hundred stars for her fantastic customer service and hospitality !! She went over and above to help me out and I appreciated it so much! She seriously made my night!! I’m super pregnant and needed some cheesy goodness which she definitely delivered! Delicious and a great experience!!
